Frontend Developer

Our client is looking for strong candidates with fluent English who will work within the Development team to add to and enhance the existing web services.

Key Responsibilities

•  Using a variety of technologies, you will work within the Development team to add to and enhance the existing web services
• Integrate Open-Source components and web services where necessary
• Integration with REST APIs
• Bring innovative approaches to the project functional areas that continuously improve our ability to deliver faster, better and cheaper solutions
• Consistently write, translate and code software solutions and applications according to specifications
• Write programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of company applications as necessary
• Work with team members to ensure that design, specifications and code meet industry best practices and standards
• Successful candidate must take senior-level ownership of the component, working without close supervision
• Communicate progress and statuses within the team and to management
• Coordinate closely with Development Managers

Requirements

• 4+ years experience with front-end web development
• Extensive programming experience in HTML5, CSS3 and Material UI 5
• Solid understanding and development experience in React JS and Redux
• 4+ years experience with JavaScript
• Ability to create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components using React
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with client-side architecture
• Good understanding of web application scalability, availability, and awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
• Experience with writing e2e tests (Jest, Jasmine, Karma, or Chai)
• Experience with Node.js
• Experience and strong working knowledge with recognized software development lifecycle methodologies and coding standards within an Agile working environment
• Experience in communicating and developing solutions with clients and stakeholders
• Experience with multiple operating systems and in systems analysis and design
• Good knowledge of the company product development lifecycle and the process tools
• Experience delivering patterns & practices resulting in high-quality services
• Experience in web application development
• Proven ability to effectively prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines
• Very good design & developer mindset & skills
• Experience using AWS, Amazon Connect, and AWS Amplify would be a plus
