Our Client is seeking an Automation Test Engineer with 4+ yrs of Automation experience within Agile, Solid Java, API/UI/Mobile test areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • In-Sprint automation – design, develop and execute automated test scripts
  • Working with BA, Developers, Functional Team, and QE Lead as part of Sprint
  • Creating comprehensive, well-structured automated test scripts scenarios/cases
  • Supporting functional team will manual testing as and when needed during the Sprint
  • Supporting the tracking & triage of defects, follow-up for resolution

Requirements

  •  5 years of hands-on experience using Selenium, Java, and SQL
  • Experience in writing BDD Test suites with Gherkin, Cucumber
  • Experience in Rest Assured, Postman, or other API testing frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of software Test methodologies tools and processes
  • Experience of working in an Agile manner and in Scrum Teams
  • Experience working in Jira/Zephyr for Test and Defect Management (test scenarios/cases, defects, reporting) and other tools such as confluence
  • Proficiency with Jenkins, GitHub
  • A predisposition towards being proactive, self-motivated, and capable of taking initiative
  • Mobile Automation using Appium, XCUITest, Espresso
  • Unified Functional Testing (UFT)
  • ISTQB Foundation certified
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Dedication to continuous personal and process improvement
  • Analytical with strong attention to detail and results-oriented
